Italian subordinating conjunctions.
There are coordinating or subordinating conjunctions, congiunzioni coordinative e subordinative.
In simple terms, the congiunzioni coordinative connect sentences or elements of a sentence that have the same importance.

Devo fare la spesa e cucinare.
In this example, the conjunction “e” (and) puts on the same level the verbs fare (la spesa) and cucinare. We could also use it with two nouns, adjectives, adverbs or two whole sentences.
